“The Montessori Mom”
The title is self-explanatory. I think a book like this could be a good resource for parents trying to decide whether a Montessori-based education would be good for their kids.
For those of you that don’t know, Stephanie is a teacher. For the past three years, she taught 1st and 2nd grade at a public Montessori school in California. I keep trying to talk her into writing this book, but she is currently disinterested, and would rather focus on raising Elliott properly. I can’t argue with that much, but I still think it’s a fantastic idea.

Dr. Montessori was a brilliant woman, whose philosophy of education strikes a huge cord with me. I feel passionately about this subject. This book already exists in my mind including the history of Dr. Maria Montessori's life, the stages (planes) of development, manuals for each age group, ideas for how to run a successful classroom with almost everything you need (books, songs, art activities) included. Maybe you can edit. But you're right, Elliott is priority numero uno. Anything that takes time or focus away from raising Elliott or takes time away from our family doesn't interest me right now.
