I love poetry! My students used to memorize one poem a week, and it was a big hit. My favorite books to read to Elliott are rhyming books that seem like a very long poem. You love word play, rhyming and making up things like two people farting have "toot in common"/Tuttenkamen...I don't think I spelled the Egyptian King's name correctly. I'm surprised you don't have any poetry ideas in the work (well, Elliott's story rhymes).
