I think an autobiography or movie of your mom's life would be fascinating. Along the line of the Nevada Trilogy, but all inclusive from her point of view.
Of course I love the insane nurse idea. You must include the homograph though!
And definately the montesorri idea. I've already decided that will be the path for my little spawn.
I can't sign into google for some reason.
